Cardinal IT Solutions provided a cutting-edge reporting and analytics solution to a healthcare client in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. The project began with our management consulting to evaluate the existing reporting and analytics options. Our seasoned leadership assessed the client's data, analytics, governance, and infrastructure maturity using the HIMSS maturity model. Furthermore, we provided a detailed roadmap to address the issues identified during the assessment, paving the way to the future state of self-service business intelligence - a state in which business users will be able to build their own reports and dashboards without having to open tickets for IT to do so. The roadmap comprised infrastructure, governance, technological stack, and data maturity suggestions. Furthermore, we conducted a skill evaluation for the reporting and analytics team, mapping present competencies with recommendations for the future state. A unique training plan was delivered for each resource in the team based on the skill assessment and the intended future state.
